چکیده
duringthe past two decades, thedetective genrehas experiencedan unprecedented boomin latinamerica. many ofthe writers writing in this regard have highlightedtheroleof women indetectiveframes.thispaper examinesa series ofdetective novelstoexaminebroadlytheevolutionofthe female figure incontemporarydetectivenovelsofargentina, chileandmexico. here,we show howthewomandetectivestartsimitatingandparodyingthe figure ofmaledetective, but, overtime, come todevelop her own styleofbeing and feeling, reaching a defined personalitythatallowsus to report, in somecases, thedifficultsocialrealitythatsurrounds her.
